One of the most disconcerting this about magi chats is waiting for the agent to repsond. The user hits enter in the chat there is no indication that the agent is working. The emotional reactiion is to 'bang on the keys".
Maybe rolling dot, a tapping finger, some gif or animation that the agent is working. Or a sound... https://www.trekcore.com/audio/toscomputer/voice/tos_datareceived_ep.mp3

Loading Animation for Chat Agent

In the sales demos there is no visual indication that the chat agent is working for 10 seconds before the reply appears.
Visual feedback is essential from a UX perspective if we’re considering users that often hang up after only three rings.
Even if you make improvements to model selection or rate limiting, you still may run into delays on toolcalls and without visual feedback the user has no assurance the platform is working.
I hope there’s not a fear of the loading indicator organizationally. It’s okay to take time to perform toolcalls, load context, etc.
Users shouldn’t expect the platform to be instant, but they should have some visual indicator that it’s working.
Please plan to have a loading animation, it's an industry standard and I see it's been requested before.

This shouldn't have been marked completed as there isn't a loading animation.
