Exciting news:
Inbox users can send TimeZest meeting invitations directly from within Inbox
, making it easy for techs and customers to find the best meeting time - eliminating scheduling "ping pong" - while chatting in a thread. With an active TimeZest account, Inbox users can send a TimeZest link to contacts using the /TimeZest slash command. Contacts can then choose a meeting time through the link, which will update Thread Planner and your PSA in real time with the plan details.
Thread users with a TimeZest account can navigate to the Integrations page in Admin and click on "TimeZest" to add the integration to your workspace.

Great news! As part of our general availability (GA) release for Planner, users can now use TimeZest to book appointments directly from Thread, with bidirectional syncing to your PSA.
If you have a TimeZest account, navigate to the Integrations page in Admin and click on "TimeZest" to add the integration to your workspace. Once configured, Thread users can trigger TimeZest via the "Actions" tab in the composer or by using the slash command "/timezest." You will then be prompted with a few questions, and a link will be generated for you to send to your customer. Once the customer selects a time based on your calendar's availability, their appointment will be represented in both Thread's Inbox and your PSA.

I wanted to add some context to this; it may help push this along. Currently, we can use snippets to enter a URL-based booking link, and here is a list of reasons why an integration would be helpful.
- I now need to create snippets for each potential type of booking manually. If a new booking type is created, we need to manually create it in Inbox.
- Can't choose who has access to the snippet
- Does not kick off the Timezest workflow to initiate reminders
- Does not kick off the Timzest status workflow
- Does not allow us to customize the invitation time, date, duration, contact, guests, etc.
- Requires us to open our ticketing system to send an invitation, causing extra clicks.
